Katy's Bio:
Katy builds Unified Communications products and solutions at Unify2, based on Office Communications Server APIs. These include extending the “out of the box” functionality of OCS as needed, either to meet specific enterprise requirements or to meet broad industry requirements to complement OCS functionality.
Katy has a 20-year track record in developing Communications Protocols for large scale successful commercial products. As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at Intellitax she architected and implemented robust, scalable mission critical HTTP communications services for receiving transmissions from customers and transmitting to trading partners and the Filing Center. As Principal Software Engineer at Laplink she developed peer-to-peer communications components over TAPI & TCP/IP, and developed the personal HTTP server used by the LapLink Everywhere application. As a contract developer at Microsoft she worked on the Exchange Gateway Developer’s toolkit and gained extensive experience with MAPI.
Katy has a B.S. in Mathematics with Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
