New updates on Skype for Business Performance software enhancements related to Microsoft Teams, Skype Cloud and UC Headset device management

The premier global conference for CIOs and Senior IT Executives, Gartner Symposium/ITxpo, runs from October 1-5 in Orlando, FL.  Gartner Symposium helps IT leaders gain a strategic view of emerging trends shaping IT and business.  The Unify Square presence at Gartner ITxpo will center on discussions about both hybrid and cloud scenarios surrounding Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams.

Unify Square will be exhibiting in the Networking and Communications marketplace in Booth #125. We will be demonstrating the latest advancements in our PowerSuiteTM software and cloud managed services suite.

In particular, we will be talking about and demonstrating the following:

  • Microsoft Teams and Unified Communications and Collaboration: The Unify Square PowerSuite platform will expand to provide complete performance management support for Microsoft Teams (in conjunction with our existing support Skype for Business).
  • UC in the Cloud (vs. On-Prem): To assist with the initial piloting of Skype in the Cloud and the paced enterprise migrations from on-prem to the cloud with Skype for Business, we have already begun expanding the PowerSuite platform to encompass hybrid and cloud-only scenarios and solutions.
  • Device Management: Device configuration, monitoring and management are becoming an ever-larger part of the successful overall performance management of UC systems.  The evolving PowerSuite device management story continues as a multi-vendor heterogeneous solution and now expands (beyond IP Phones) to also focus on UC headsets…..starting with Jabra headsets.
  • Tracking Dashboard: The new PowerSuite Tracking Dashboard (in early preview) enables Help Desk personnel and Skype for Business Engineers to track and improve the end-user call experience of key users and groups.  By enabling drill down into micro tracking details on calls (either in real time or as a historical aggregate) for defined groups of users and/or key executives, this new solution assists with real-time oversight and troubleshooting.
