Global Packaging/Container Company
Prior to working with Unify Square, this company was searching for a way to deploy 24x7x365 management for their Skype for Business voice environment. Unify Square won the busines in late 2019. In early 2020, with the sudden emergence of the global pandemic, the customers’ vision to migrate users from Skype for Business and legacy a Cisco voice environment to Microsoft Teams became a higher priority. However, there were concerns about how this could be done efficiently, smoothly, and securely without causing disruption to the business.
Unify Square conducted user adoption and Microsoft Teams policy and configuration design workshops before executing the agreed deliverables. It was imperative that the correct policy settings were in place to prevent any security mishaps. We also carried out over 50 training sessions for VIPs, champions, PAs/EAs and key IT stakeholders to help the transition of over 10,000 users to Microsoft Teams. Our consulting team then migrated all Skype for Business users and common area phones to Teams as well as remotely configured the analog gateways. We continue to provide 24x7x365 support for Teams as well as our PowerSuite software which they use to proactively identify potential anomalies which could cause issues for their environment.
Global Professional Services Organization
As part of a 25,000-user full voice transformation from a legacy Cisco Call Manager telephony environment, the customer required an end-to-end managed service for its Microsoft voice environment and third-party applications. The customer challenges included ensuring the voice quality was as good as, if not better, than the legacy Cisco environment. This was made more challenging as the user base was renowned for using uncertified devices, increasing the chances of poor voice quality.
After winning the business and deploying our PowerSuite software, the Unify Square managed services team were able to set a baseline voice quality level and proactively work with the customer to provide insight into how to improve the service over time. In addition, with the use of PowerSuite’s usage data, Unify Square was able to help the customer adoption team reach out and educate repeat offenders to ensure certified headsets were used, improving the voice quality for everyone joining a call.

Although many Unify Square employees have spent earlier parts of their careers working at Microsoft, it wasn’t until 2015 when Microsoft took the step of becoming an investor in Unify Square.
