This short video will focus on PowerSuite’s Collaboration Security & Governance Solutions. The Security Analytics & Policy Management dashboards help you discover issues impacting the security and productivity of your collaboration environment and automate controls to address those issues.
Let’s take a closer look at how PowerSuite can help you discover, manage, and secure collaboration.
One widespread problem that organizations face is having many single-owner Teams. This causes issues when a single-owner leaves the organization, so in order to secure the data stored by this team, we should assign additional owners to single-owner Teams.
While we could update the Teams one-by-one in the Teams Admin Center, PowerSuite’s powerful Policy Management dashboard allows us to effortlessly automate and scale this process.
To create a policy, we’ll first create a Team Scope for these parameters.
We could either assign PowerSuite to report on violations, or we could assign a specific Workflow to it to automate policy remediation. Workflows can be used to inform, hold, or execute an action to fix the problem.
For this example, we’ll just have PowerSuite report back to us on this policy. We’ll add the Minimum number of owners our Teams should have and click “Create.”
With just a couple of simple PowerSuite steps, we have configured a policy that will secure and manage the lifecycle of thousands of teams in our environment. Not only will this policy manage all existing teams in our Collaboration ecosystem, but it will also be applied to all future teams in our organization’s environment, preventing this team ownership problem from ever arising again.
