Spring Business Snapshot: Our Latest Skype for Business Transformation Successes

Things have been so busy in this new quarter that we’ve almost forgotten to take time to highlight some of the key wins and successes from the quarter gone by. Not to fear—here’s a quick update. We had a great quarter, adding new business with several of our existing Fortune 500 customers and also closing deals with some net new enterprise customers.

  • Growing existing business: Quite often we find that we begin to engage with our customers in the consulting arena and then expand the relationship over time to include our software and/or our smart remote managed services. This quarter was no different. A multinational food products distributor, a global energy company, and a transnational food and beverage company were but a few of the many existing customers who decided to expand on the set of software and services which they purchased from Unify Square.
  • Net new business: To keep this post short, we’ve selected just one of our new customer wins to highlight for the quarter. We closed an exciting new partnership with a major global parts manufacturer for the automotive and aerospace industries. The company has over 84,000 employees and 200 sites in 50 countries across the globe. They made the decision to engage with us after our services team had assisted them with designing their Skype for Business infrastructure for some of their global sites. Our PowerSuite service availability monitoring know-how and technology sealed the deal, and we’ll start off by assisting them initially in 50 sites, with plans to help them grow their Skype for Business environment to encompass all 200+ sites over the next year.
  • Cloud PBX pilots: We’ve been working hand in hand with Microsoft to help corral some of the enthusiasm and interest around the new Skype for Business Online offering. To that end, we’ve been conducting various pilots around the Cloud PBX and the new CCE (Cloud Connector Edition). From a global custom automation equipment customer, to a couple of the world’s largest financial services institutions, to a major global beverage products manufacturer, to a global design and consultancy firm, our consulting troops have kept busy working through cloud strategies, pilot implementations and evaluations for a number of key new customers.

All of our customers, new and “old,” continuously see value in our end to end Skype for Business solutions and engage with us over and over as their deployments expand. To further support our expanding customer base and continued growth, we also announced last quarter that we’ve grown our top level leadership team with some exciting new hires, and we made some innovative strides in our product offering with an update to PowerAssurance, our smart remote managed services offering for Skype for Business.
