PowerMon® and PowerSAT® integrate and add value to Microsoft Lync 2013 over Azure.
Bellevue, WA – September 30, 2013 – Unify Square, a Microsoft Gold Unified Communications Partner and a 2013 Microsoft Partner of the Year Finalist in Communications, announced today that its solutions, PowerMon and PowerSAT, passed required testing becoming the first Azure-based Lync 2013 service availability, monitoring, and user satisfaction survey solutions for the Microsoft Lync ISV Qualification Program.
Unify Square’s deep experience helping over 150 enterprises worldwide deploy Lync Enterprise Voice has helped enterprises drive the three Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) fundamental to Lync operations: service availability, voice quality, and user satisfaction. Unify Square cloud-based solutions, PowerMon and PowerSAT, leverage this experience and help enterprises surface these KPIs in an automated, real-time, globalscale enterprise model.
PowerMon, an Azure-based 24×365 enterprise monitoring solution for Microsoft Lync 2013, proactively monitors end-to-end Lync service availability across workloads, including inbound and outbound PSTN and dial-in conferencing. PowerMon’s enterprise-scale synthetic transactions provide the enterprise with end-to-end service availability and monitoring across all Lync infrastructure elements, including PSTN, gateways, SBAs, SBCs, firewalls, edge servers, in addition to internal Lync infrastructure.
PowerSAT, also Azure-based, is an enterprise end-user engagement, satisfaction, survey and notification solution, that facilitates real-time surveys including Net User Satisfaction (NSAT) surveys from end users in a familiar Lync IM experience based on their presence. Using PowerSAT, Lync administrators can systematically gather and score user satisfaction information to monitor their end users’ satisfaction with Lync and drive continuous user engagement.
“We’re excited to have PowerMon and PowerSAT from Unify Square complete Lync 2013 qualification testing,” said Jon Morrow Sr. Program Manager for Partner Engineering at Microsoft. “As Lync deployments continue to grow in the enterprise, we anticipate increased customer interest in cloud-based monitoring, service availability and user satisfaction solutions such as these.”
Unify Square’s Lync-based software solutions today service close to 2 million Lync Enterprise Voice seats. By rapidly incorporating Lync operational experience from enterprises across the world, and adopting an agile monthly engineering and release cycle for cloud-based delivery, Unify Square makes this ongoing global operational experience rapidly available to every customer, enabling valuable benchmarking, efficient root cause identification & resolution, and proactively attaining world-class operational robustness for Lync.
“Every enterprise deploying Lync today aims to achieve a rock-solid Lync environment without wasting precious time, resources, and user confidence,” said Hari Natarajan, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at Unify Square. “PowerMon and PowerSAT enable enterprises to proactively drive their Lync infrastructure to a robust mission-critical state, rather than constantly react to issues, and to do so through a simple plug & play software-as-a-service approach.”
Microsoft Lync Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Qualification Program is designed for Microsoft partners that have developed solutions that integrate with Microsoft Lync. Through third party testing, applications must meet specific requirements for interoperability with Lync Server, installation, set-up and configuration, documentation, and support.
